Ms. Grace Jeanfreau has been teaching and working for at A Touch of Class Performing Arts for over 8 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Dance from Southeastern Louisiana University. She received her ballet training from Giacobbe Academy of Dance in Metairie, Louisiana. As a member of The New Orleans Youth Ballet, she performed with the Delta Festival Ballet in “The Nutcracker”, “Sleeping Beauty”, “Aladdin”, and “Beauty & the Beast.” Ms. Jeanfreau was also a member of the New Orleans Ballet Ensemble, under the direction of Allison Gonzalez, performing in “Billy the Kid”, “Peter & The Wolf”, and “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.” She also attended the International Ballet Competition School in 1998, studying under several Master Teachers. Ms. Jeanfreau performed with the Hammond Ballet in “The Nutcracker” as the Sugar Plum Fairy. She has also performed in New York as a member of Izzy Moving Dance Company. Ms. Jeanfreau is presently the Assistant Artistic Director for the Hammond Ballet. |
