Ms. Lori Rayborn is the artistic director of the award winning performing arts center “A Touch of Class” in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Ms. Rayborn has produced exceptional dancers and choreographers currently working throughout the United States. She has won a variety of choreography awards including the National "Choreographer of the Year" award by Kid's Artistic Revue [KAR] 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2011. Ms. Rayborn has a passion for working with young children. She has been invited to instruct “Teachers Physical Fitness in Preschool” at several national seminars. She has danced since the age of three and never lost her love for the art. Ms. Rayborn was a member of Dance Inc. and a national champion in ballroom dance. She presently sits on the board of directors for the Hammond Ballet Company and is an active member of Dance Masters of America. Her recent choreography credits include the opening routine for the Miss Southeast Louisiana Pageant held at Southeastern Louisiana University. She is the proud teacher of 2003 Petite Miss Dance of Louisiana Dance Masters of America, 2004 Junior Miss Louisiana Dance Masters of America, 2004 Miss Louisiana Dance Masters of America, 2005 Teen Miss Dance of Louisiana Dance Masters of America, 2009 Petite Miss Dance of Louisiana Dance Masters, 2010 Teen Miss Dance of Louisiana Dance Masters of America, 2006 Mini & Junior NYCDA Dancers of the year and 2011 National Junior Miss and Miss Dance of America KIds Artistic Revue. Ms Rayborn's students have been accepted and attended many summer ballet intesive programs including American Ballet Theater (ABT), the ROCK school for ballet, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and LINES ballet in San Francisco. Ms. Rayborn is currently a regional, national, and international judge for both dance competitions and pageants. Ms. Rayborn is the proud mother of three daughters. |
