I was a college student at Southeastern Louisiana University when I decided to open the studio. While in college continuing my studies, A Touch of Class quickly began to expand.
As time went by, I realized I had already accomplished my dream of working with kids everyday and ALWAYS having dance as a part of my life.
In later years, my daughter Taylor, like me, also developed a love for the world of dance and children. She began traveling the world learning various types of dance instruction and honing her craft. When she came back home, it felt good to have all my teachers in place. This also gave Taylor to teach.
Later that year, I was diagnosed with cancer but was able to stay strong because I had so to strive for and unwavering support along the journey to recovery from our great children and families.
My studio is so much more than a dance studio to me, it is my life. My dance family is who I am.
